Brief info
I was born and raised in Nteko, a small village near the Democratic Republic of Congo border and next to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. From a very poor family, At a young age, I talked my Father into selling his only goat to send me to school. I was a very bright student, and my school gave me a bursary from P4 to P7. With hard work and determination at the age of twenty three I qualified as a Grade III teacher, as well as holding Tour Guide and Driving certificates.
I am married to my wife Annah, and we have three children.
Over the years, I observed all the hunger and lack of any schooling for the poor in Nteko, and became determined to help them, and thus the Bwindi Trust Orphanage Foundation was born.
